- Born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4th, 1948 in Detroit, MI
- The name “Alice Cooper” supposedly came from a Ouija board, when Furnier was told he was a reincarnation of a witch from the 1600s of the same name
- Cooper is now a born-again Christian and has said that every word in the Bible is true
- He famously loves both hockey and golf
- Cooper has three children and a wife and now lives in Phoenix
- Cooper ran for the governor of Arizona in 1988
- Cooper’s persona is limited to songwriting and on-stage. He is rather mild-mannered and quite the opposite in person
- While he hasn’t been touring that often, Cooper runs his own nationally-syndicated radio show called “Nights with Alice Cooper”
- Cooper’s songs appear in the movie Dazed and Confused including, “School’s Out” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy”
