  • ·         Born February 20, 1967
    • ·        Grew up in a small logging town in Washington; after his death, a sign was put up in his hometown, which read, “Welcome to Aberdeen – Come As You Are” in his honor
    • ·        Was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and was prescribed Ritalin

Today, David Florig, the Executive Director of WePac was in to discuss the library situation in the Philadelphia School System. Right now there are only 12 state paid libraries open at elementary schools in Philly, 28 over all. There are 150 schools in Philly.
