On Friday, I had a chance to chat with guitarist John Wesley who is best known for his work as a touring member of Porcupine Tree as well as his work with members of Marillion.  His solo tour will be hitting the Tin Angel here in Philly on Wednesday April 6th. He is touring in support of his new CD, The Lilypad Suite, We had a chance to chat about the concept of the new album, how it came to be. He also talked about how being a single father impacted his career. John also shared about how he became a musician, his favorite guitar and amp, some Philly memories and more.     Great interview. Living in Ct. I will not be seeing John in Philly but I will be seeing him twice in Montreal at Marillion Weekend.

    Love his dedication to his daughter, I really respect that he chooses family values in the face of a muscians usual available lifestyle choices.
