Two key points I thought about this morning on the treadmill. The best way to get to the island is by sub. Smokey could not get to Ben until the water was drained. Just a theme I thought about.

During the clip show last night, they confirmed that Widmore was responsible for putting the fake flight 815 at the bottom of the ocean. At least the show wasn't a total waste.

To the above poster. That was revealed two weeks ago to Miles, when the guys took him in the van to try and convince him, not to go with Widmore's crew. This past week's show was a waste.

That waste of a recap did not answer the only question that I had!! How did Hurley arrive at the airport to go back to the island when he surrendered himself to the police outside his home (when he did the opposite of what Ben wanted)?

I think Hurley's story will ultimately be told in the process of the show. I said it when they first got back to the island they only showed Jack's story in the episode and the flash back system will be resurrected to deal with the others. We've gotten Jack's, Kate's, and Sayid's story so far. Oh and Ben's. I'm not sure if we've gotten Sun's story (may not need to be done because her story is fairly straight forward: get back her husband) and we haven't seen Hurley but its presumably has to do with him seeing his dead friends.

To Emily: A few episodes back, we saw the Lawyer, Kate was following meet with Ben in a parking garage and hand him a folder. He said that Hurley would be out of jail the next day since there was no evidence he actually shot someone. One of the people died when Sayid flipped him over the balcony railing and the second was flipped on top of the kitchen knives in the dishwasher...none of them were shot. It was asumed that Hurley spoke with Charile and Charlie told him he had to go back, since he's carrying the Guitar case.

Well, as far as the staged plane crash goes: I don't believe it until the producers confirm it. There is so much lying and cover-ups between Widmore and Ben, I don't immediately believe anything either of them say anymore. So I also found it interesting that we can now fully believe that Widmore did it and Ben isn't just saying he did to gain Locke's trust. Now we need to go deeper into the Egyptian theme. I haven't read all the posts yet, and it was probably pointed out already, but when Jack was in the Dharma suit and erasing the blackboard two episodes ago, there was info about Ancient Egyptian heiroglyphics and the different symbols for the "word for God" in different stages of Egyptian history. That and the Four Toed Statue being revealed to resemble an Egyptian God or Goddess earlier this season. Interesting stuff... Can we PLEASE get an answer on Jacob, or some clues at least, before the season ends!?!?!?!!?! This is driving me crazy!
