Namaste When some old friends drop in unannounced, Sawyer is forced to further perpetuate his lie in order to protect them. http://abc.go.co....t/index?pn=index * UPDATE * As many of you have noted, our Lost chats have become increasingly shorter, if they happen at all. For the people who post on this page, that fact is quite frustrating. To you lovers of Lost, we do sincerely apologize. However, we have to service our entire audience of listeners and unfortunately, not everyone who listens to our show loves Lost like you do. Obviously, we'll continue to have parties at the season premieres and finales; we'll keep this page active; we'll talk about the show when we can; we'll continue to interview the stars and writers of the show. In case you don't know, I maintain this page and I really do love Lost. Everyone on the show still does. If you have any questions or complaints, feel free to direct them to me - Nick@wmmr.com - and I'll certainly respond. All the best and thanks for your passion! Take care, Nick Click below for Preston's addressing the Lost chats: http://www.prest....m/audio/1214.mp3

Alright after tonights eposide I think I understand the whole List Thing from the beginning when Ben handed out the lists of people he wanted. He didn't want anybody who was part of the 70's Dharma group Jack, Sawyer, Kate. It is a us vs them thing. He knows they are doomed anyway they die in the purge so he doesn't want them in the future.

ok so Ethan was 27 when he got killed. He has to be the oldest looking 27yr old in history. Also thats the runway that Sawyer, and Kate were bulding in season 3. HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its awesome how Sawyer has taken over. Why do i think Sayid is going to try to kill Young Ben?

So I am thinking that Ethan is the baby. The "adam n eve" skeletons are Bernard and Rose. Sayid's purpose is to either kill Ben"not gonna happen" or save/help Ben in the expulsion of the other Darma people

I have a theory about how the show will move on to season six. Our survivors will obviously not be in the past for long. As we know (or think) Ben tricked Widmore in turning the frozen donkey wheel sometime in the past. I believe sometime this season, Young Ben tricks Widmore in turning the wheel. This will be known as the 'incident' that was described one of the old dharma videos (can not remember which, maybe the swan) because something will happen the 'dharmas' cannot explain. During this time, our survivors will end up back in the same time as Sun, Locke, and others. This should set up a showdown or give another story with the survivors all together for season 6. In the meantime, the incident will allow young Ben to blossum into the character we know him as today because 'the Others' will be without a leader for some time.

When the plane crashed -- Sun and Ben did not go back to '77. Is that because a young Ben already exists on the island in '77? Does that mean that Sun also is already on the '77 island? She is young though -- so maybe she hasn't been born yet? Please -- anyone else have any thoughts about this?
  14. Alaine posted on 03/19/2009 08:58 AM
Lapidus' co-pilot impaled on tree was awesome. Sun's oar work was perfect! Even young Ben is creepy. How and why did Ethan survive the purge? Which other Dharma members were allowed to live through the purge?

Have I missed the lost discussion, or they not doing it anymore? I think that Sayeed definitely feels he was sent back to 1977 to take little Ben out... To be honest, it would save the world from a sociopath. His Father really did a number on him. We all saw the flash, I have to wonder what time Sun did crash in, and why was she not grabbed during the time flash. How did Ben know there were boats hidden and stowed in that particular place, if there had been a shift in time, would they always have been there? Juliette needs to keep an eye on Kate, but then Jack seemed really happy to see her, I say Swapsies?

Sun was not taken back to 1977 with Jack, Kate and the rest of the O6 because she was not the same as when she left. (Not with Child) that's my guess. The Plane crushed three years after the O6 left the island.
  18. Jukin posted on 03/19/2009 09:42 AM
I have a theory about why Sun didn't go to 1977 with the rest of the O6. Remember that Locke said that they "weren't supposed to leave". We know that Juliette, Miles, Sawyer etc. were always "supposed" to g back in time because they've impacted events (such as Ethan being born) which we know happened in 2004. If Sawyer doesn't kill the 2 Others holding Amy, it's very likely that she would have been killed or taken prisoner and never hooked up with Horace and Ethan wouldn't have been born. (Sure she could have escaped or been released or in a million other ways found her way back to the Dharma camp and resumed the time line - but based on what we have been shown it appears that they were preparing to take her captive and presumably killed to provide the justice Richard stated was needed.) Had Sun remained on the island she would have died from the pregnancy and wouldn't have been with the group we now see in 1977. By having her remain in 2007 it seems that the universe is correcting itself and in contrast to Sawyer's encounter with the Others, it's preventing Sun from altering a past she was never intended to be a part of.

  20. Southpaw posted on 03/19/2009 10:30 AM
I think that the reason some of them went back in time and some of them didn't, was because the conditions weren't the same as what happened in the first crash - namely that Kate left Aaron somewhere in LA. Also, the people who landed in 2007 have no reason to think it's a different year, because probably only Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid experienced the flash of light. I think it's pretty safe to say that Locke is gonna have a key role in reuniting everyone, and setting the island truly back on its proper path.
  21. JJ posted on 03/19/2009 10:48 AM
Did anyone else catch the numbers last night? When the plane first starts to desend down to the island you briefly hear the numbers come in over the radio. I had to rewind and listen again to be sure. Probably the same recording that Hurley's friend from the first mental hospital and I think Rousou's group heard it too. (Then Roussou put her own message over it which ran for 16 years before Jack turned it off). If Jack turned Roussou's broadcast off then someone must have put the original numbers broadcast back on?

Could it be possible Sun was the asian baby in the crib at the beginning of the season? Pierre Chang's daughter perhaps and this is why she was transported back in time because there is a Sun already there in 1977. Same for Ben.

Blueberry - I was thinking the same thing. I feel like we might have heard the doctor and wife refer to the baby as "him" at some point though. There's definitely some potential for the fact that Sun was on the island before. Sun's father's corporation/business has some relation to the Hanso Foundation...I'm just no where near smart enough to figure it all out.

Don't cheat us out of what we can get. I agree with the 8-8:30 time slot as it used to be . Whether you guys think you have anything to add I think we can say a Big Yes . We (me and friends) agree that Sun is Dr. Chang (Hallowax, etc.)'s baby. We can't find anything that says the baby was a boy although we all thought that too (which is why Miles was the first thought). But it makes more sense why Sun and Ben didn't go back to 1977...they can't run into their former selves. The whole hazmat suits and quarantine thing makes total sense now too. Radzinsky (the guy last night who was monitoring for planes and building the Swan in 77) was also the guy who killed himself in the Swan (with Kelvin before Desmond). He obviously got freaked out when the purge happened. This is the best show on TV. It certainly never jumped the freakin' shark!!!!!!

  37. Eric posted on 03/19/2009 09:41 PM
Sun is not the baby. We know who her father is. Miles makes sense as he was getting the nose bleeds from living on the island before. The simplest explanation being he was the baby from the beginning. Until another suggestion is provided this makes the most sense.

Juliette had a relationship with him before he died. I thought it was creepy when she was holding him, then found out his name.

There was a video released at comic-con. On it Pierre Chang is trying to record a message. The baby keeps crying in the background. Pierre calls to his wife and says "can you just take him outside." So, I am going with Chang's baby is a boy. Which leads me to Miles. It seems Preston and Steve's Lost chat segments were getting shorter and shorter. If they can't give it the time it deserves, maybe they should skip it.

To jdsd: Juliet didn't have a relationship with Ethan previously, she had a relationship with Goodwin (Goodwin's wife was the Others' resident shrink). It was still super creepy for Juliet to be holding baby Ethan though. And where do we think Faraday went? He was off by himself looking at a little-girl-Charlotte when we last saw him, right? Where did he get to?
  43. Great One posted on 03/20/2009 09:16 AM
Sun not going back because shes already there makes no sense. Ur basing that on the fact that u can't have to selves existing at the same time. But during one of the flashes before the island was stable again Sawyer sees Kate and Claire, and Locke sees when he is first seeing the light from the swan. This means they were in the same time as another version of themselves. So that cannot be the reason y Ben and Sun didn't go back

This is a response to Nick's update about the Lost chat or the lack of: You talk about servicing all of your loyal; listeners and not all of them like Lost. Well, I'm sure 15 minutes of Lost chat will not make you lose listeners where losing the chat all together will. Many of us listen or started listening to you guys because of the Lost chat is this response is a slap in the face to all of us. It's not like you are replacing the chat with an interview of a celebrity or anything else that is time sensitive. The non sense that you guys were doing in the Lost time slot was ridiculous. If you are saying that is more entertaining than the Lost chat, then you don't give your listeners much credit or think thye are all that bright. It seems that you will be one of the many personalities on the radio that come and go because they lose touch on what brought people to the show in the first place. I for one will give you guys one more week to see if you regain your priorities to the listeners or I will move on to another station, as I'm sure many others will follow by reading these posts, since what you are replacing the chat with isn't even on the same page as your explanation....quality material for your "other" listeners. In adavance, have a good day and farewell!

I think the reason Sun did not go back was because her 'proxy' was not re-enacted as the others were. They made a point of having that lady ask Sun if she was okay while on the beach. She replied "I was traveling alone." I do not think anyone on Oceanic 815 was just traveling alone to find their hubby on the island. Soo her proxy failed and landed her with the rest of the people from 316. I knew I recongised Radzinsky's name from somewhere! He was with Kelvin then in the hatch. It will be interesting to see how he and Ethan both escape the purge. I don't think Sayid's "reason for coming back" is to kill little Ben. I'm thinking one of the main title characters is going to bite it. I wonder which one...

I know we should just talk about LOST, but I would really like to add my opinion about P&S. I've been a listener since they were with Marilyn but I am quickly and VERY reluctantly losing touch with them. I became a fan because I always felt that they were all just like me, only funnier. They would talk about the same interests as me and made sci-fi, americana, movies and TV seem cool. When LOST came around and we found out that they were fans also, it ( and the P&S Show) quickly became a focusing point to which fans could gravitate towards. I will say again: Remember when the Philly area was the only place LOST beat American Idol? P&S, Why do you think that happened? I have to admit that I love half-naked girls as much as the next guy, but I seriously don't want to waste time hearing them say, "Come and see me at McFadden's and I'll sign a poster for you." I'm sorry, who are you again...? And really, 45 minutes with Bam and/or Bam's Mother? I'd rather hear Neil DeGrasse-Tyson. At least I'm learning something. I do believe that Nick is the last member of the show who honestly sounds like he knows what is happening on LOST. Thank you, Nick. So, come on, guys, pull it together and do the right thing. Now, according to E! Online, a major character is dying at the end of the season. Someone besides Kate. They reported that the actor "took the news very hard." Who could it be? I'm making a guess at Sawyer. He seemes to be really falling in with the Dharma group and may have finally found a happy home. I say he fights courageously during the Purge and dies a hero. Any other thoughts?

Sun can't be on the island in 1977. Remember when she went to see jin's grave. She had a headstone the had Sun 1980-blank. So she was born in 1980. That blows that theory, bummer cause that would be cool.

It looks as if the person has long blonde or light brown hair and I' m 99 percent sure it's a guy. I would take a guess that it's either Horace or Sawyer in some form or another I think when Sun decides to trust/go with Christain the figure will come out of the shadows and say "come with me" or somthing like that. Second.....are you guys nuts .....the lost chat is an important part of your show...please do not under estamate your listeners...most of us are intellegent people if we wern't we'd never get half of Steve's jokes.....as for not appealing to all of the audience....when ever does that happen?????? The hottie cam girls don't appeal to me (except when you have my daughter,Jenni Mae, on). as I'm sure they don't appeal to your other female listeners...yet your not discontinuing the hottie cam now are you? I use to sit in the parking lot at work waiting for the LOST chat and catching up with what was said with my boss who use to do the same thing. Now I can listen to my "pay" radio on the way to work and not worry about missing P&S. Preston and Steve still rock, but just not as much anymore... And the part about pleasing all the fans, what an outside curve ball that is. Way off the plate. I could care less about hearing some about some chick being on a web cam I can't access from my car or work. The joy of the show for me has always been the interactions and discussions of the P&S team, LOST topics or otherwise. I'll get back to LOST only posts after I am done throwing my tissy here. But really, I started coming to this post site to hear the chat when I couldn't stay in my car any longer and had to go in to work. Perhaps P&S could at least manage a podcast for us LOST bloggers. I want to hear what they have to say, they are funny after all.

I think the person behind Sun is just a production error. (like the animal trainer patting the horse's head sometime back that was clearly seen...in season 2) The person looks to be sitting at a computer. It is very odd though. I think the baby is Ethan....maybe being the only one (that we know of now) born on the island gave him his extra strength as shown when he picked Charlie up by the throat and took a number of punches from Jack.....he's an odd one he is. I did see someone say that we should voice our concerns about the Lost chat directly to the station but I disagree. Even though it is taking from the theroies on this page, the more people hear/read that there are a lot of people upset about the lack of Lost chat, the more people will post their concerns. It's only for this week anyway....people venting, then I would expect people to leave or just be pissed that once again a radio station didn't listened to their viewers and failed. Are the eagles going to pick up a WR or what?? lol. Oops...wrong blog....:)

shell2271 I must agree wiht you, a lot fo what these peope write in here is pointless...usuallypeople pointing out things they consider new, but is actually seasons old... but I DID see a blonde hairs woman behind sun in her conversation with christian... please take a look at it again... the focus is a littel off, butyou can clearly see a blonde hairs person move her head... and it is ONLY the top of her head in the light. Please go back and check again... I know how you feel about people postign stupid stuff... but whoever first posted about the claire in tehbackground was CORRECT!

Many of you have said Sun couldn't jump back because she was already in 1977. If that's true, then how did John and Sawyer jump into 2004 to see the light from the hatch or Claire giving birth? Sun must have unfinished business with the island in 2007 - probably relating to the Claire/Christian/Jacob connection. I agree with Cheech from his earlier post. Rose and Bernard have not been seen in a while, and I have wondered if they died sometime in the past (maybe by Dharma for violating the perimeter? maybe from the nose bleeds/temporal displacement while they were hiding in the caves?), and were laid to rest in the caves - one black, one white, like the stones in the pouch. I still think Miles is the scientist's baby. The age works out, and Faraday asked him "are you sure?" when he said he had never been in the island before. Plus, in "The Glass Ballerina" episode, we see flashback's of Sun as a little girl. The 'Jughead' bomb was buried near the location of the Swan station - which has caused "the incident" (leakage?) and why the area was covered in concrete, like Chernobyl, as Sayid references in early season 2

Please don't lose the LOST chats. It's one of the things that I really look forward to about your show. And, the one day that I actually make sure that I listen. I would listen all the time if I could but I'm home with two little kids and it's not the most always the most appropriate thing to listen to in the car or at home. But, I ALWAYS tune in on Thursday morning between 8:30 and 9:30. I think that it is a shame that you can't give up 15 minutes one day a week to talk about it. Disappointing.

Ben is a survivor from some event that will happen in season six. This event will kill Christian. Widmore was there as well, and he and Christian are battling for control of the island - Widmore so he can put it back into a time loop and live forever - Christian just wants to stop the event (and Widmore). Christian came back to life because he doesn't die until season six. Locke is alive again because the plane crashed in a time prior to his murder by Ben. Ben knew where the boats would be - he knows when the plane has crashed. I think the elder Ben will have a conversation with the younger Ben in a future episode. Much like Daniel told Desmond to contact his mother and Desmond suddenly gained a new memory, Ben is constantly telling his younger self what to do in the past. I'm getting a headache trying to keep the timelines straight.

Hi Nick, Thanks for the update on the Lost chat. Well to be blunt that SUCKS. For 3 years you didn't care about the non LOST listeners . No I think the truth is you guys have lost your passion for the show. You guys never missed a episode. Now it seems you guys don't bother. Now that we get to the meat of the story you abandon it?? Has the pressure from above gotten too much. I'm sure the bean counters aren't happy about giving ABC free advertisement time. I'm bummed.

i wish you people would stop complaining about the Lost chats on the show. i agree it was great seasons ago when they really got into it and it was interesting hearing other opinions from the callers. but stop bitching already. nothing that would be said on the show can't be found here. it's more annoying to read countless posts complaining about this than the fact that the chats on the show are minimal. who knows, maybe the P&S show has ties to some TV affiliate other than ABC and talking about Lost gives ABC free advertising. besides, even when they do discuss the show, there are always a handful of morons who complain about how there wasn't enough time devoted or kathy doesn't pay attention or whatever. just get over it and enjoy the show and this site and if you can't then you got real loser issues.

what about the new recruit greeting Namaste? It means I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace, When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One. Why of all words was this chosen? Is it an Easter Egg of some sort?

Someone a few posts ago posted how disappointing it is that P&S and crew don't always watch Lost on Wednesday nights like they used to...While that may be the case, please try to remember that Lost used to air at 8:00PM. With a later time slot, I can understand DVR'ing the show and watching it the next day for a group of people that begin their show at 6:00AM and are often out late doing appearances to benefit YOU the listener. I know that I've had to DVR different TV shows or the occasional sports game and watch it the next day. And I know that when others are talking about it at work, I walk away so it doesn't ruin it for me. Don't you think that if someone has to watch the show the next day that the Lost chat ruins some of the suspense and shock for them? Look, Lost is an AMAZING show! I've been hooked since season 1 and will continue to be hooked until the end. But here's the deal - IT'S A TV SHOW. There are things more important that a TV show. Please, please, please, stop complaining about not having your Lost chats. I miss them too, but I'm okay coming here and reading what others say. Honestly, I'm more disappointed that people aren't posting as many screencaps as they used to. P&S - you guys still rock!

Not going to comment about the Lost Chat, or lack thereof. Bottom line..... It's their show and even though it's not an important part of the show to them anymore, I'm thankful for the past chats, because it got me hooked on the show. Now...where to comment. I did see a figure behind Sun as well, but couldn't make it out after watching it twice. Sorry. And as for Ethan and how he survived the purge, Faraday said no matter what happens, the timeline always course-corrects itself. Amy may have survived the first attempt and have been saved by Juliette and Sawyer, but maybe down the road, she eventually gets taken, with her baby. Just a guess. Preston and Steve still rock. I'm Scanner and I approve this message!!

Another great episode! I don't believe for a second that Sayid killed Ben, though. Obviously, that's what the show would want us to believe, and this scenario is further suggested by the fact that a main character will be killed off this season. But, when has anything ever gone as expected on this show? This is one of the many great reasons we watch this show. So, who will be killed this season? I have a feeling that will be Sawyer. And, here's my reason. I would assume that Sawyer made up the name LaFleur in his initial discussion with Horace. If you recall in the episode where Ben takes Locke to the mass gravel, shoots him, and pushes him in -- one of the dead people in the grave was wearing a Darma uniform with the name LaFleur on it. I think this season will carry us through to the purge and Sawyer will not survive -- or may not want to be saved. We all know that Sawyer has accepted Darmaville and has no interest to leave the island and stay in the 70's.

not sure, but way back before they left the island when the survivors started watching the Darma Initiative tapes and the Dr. was talking - wasn't there something wrong w/ his hand? Last night his hand was crushed.....I can't WAIT till next season!
