Philadelphia Marathon; is happening Sunday beginning at 7am. Runners will start at 22nd and Ben Franklin Parkway and run through various neighborhoods of the city including Old City, Manayunk and around the Art Museum. There will also be a half marathon an 8K and a kids fun run. To get ready for the run, there will be a Health & Fitness Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Friday and Saturday. Apple PI Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive; began on the 8th and runs through Sunday at the Recreation Center lobby in the Alpha PI Lambda House (33rd & Powelton). There are collection bins inside if you'd like to donate non-perishable cans and food items. Proceeds will help feed the homeless in Philadelphia.
