1. The Boomtown Rats - I Don't Like Mondays [Bob Geldof organized Band Aid]

2. U2 - Invisible [involved in Live 8, the RED campaign, ONE campaign, etc]

3. Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name [Tom Morello co-founded the Axis of Justice with Serj Tankian of System of a Down, a group whos purpose is to “build a bridge between fans of music around the world and local political organizations to effectively organize around issues of peace, human rights, and economic justice”]

4. 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite [the band founded The Better Life Foundation, whose mission is to assist children in need of food, shelter and medical assistance]

5. Santana with Rob Thomas - Smooth [Rob and his wife Marisol created the Sidewalk Angels Foundation a, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing critically needed funds and support to grassroots groups across the country. It is the primary supporter and sponsor of a number of no-kill animal shelters and animal rescues]

6. 30 Seconds To Mars - The Kill (Bury Me) [the band created ABeautifulLie.org, an environmentally focused website, and also raised $100k for Haitian relief via auction after the earthquake in 2010]

7. Linkin Park - Guilty All The Same [they founded Music For Relief, a group that responds to natural disasters to help victims recover and rebuild]

8. System Of A Down - Chop Suey! [Serj Tankian co-founded the Axis of Justice with Tom Morello]

9. Alice Cooper - School's Out [he founded the non-profit Solid Rock, whose primary goal is to help meet the spiritual, economical, physical, and social needs of teenagers in the community]

10. Dave Matthews Band - Crash Into Me [Bama Works Fund supports charitable programs primarily in the Charlottesville, VA area but has also responded to a wide variety of needs both nationally and internationally, done in conjunction with the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation]

11. Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shippin' Up To Boston [Ken Casey created The Claddaugh Fund, an organization that supports various non-profits, including children’s charities, veterans’ charities and drug recovery programs - there is a chapter here in Philadelphia as well as Boston]

12. Incubus - Drive [the band founded the Make Yourself Foundation, which raises funds that are in turn donated to dozens of local AND international charity groups]
