Mumford And Sons have posted a photo of bassist Ted Dwane at the band's website, showing him with a shaved head following emergency surgery last week to remove a blood clot from his brain. Dwane wrote a message to accompany the picture, saying, "Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I'm home."

  • Dwane was hospitalized last Monday (June 10th) and went under the knife when doctors found the clot in his brain. He was released from the hospital at the end of last week.
  • Mumford And Sons canceled a total of six shows -- the remainder of its U.S. tour -- after Dwane was diagnosed. Jack Johnson subbed for the group this past weekend at the Bonnaroo Festival on Saturday (June 15th).
  • The band is currently scheduled to resume touring on June 30th at England's Glastonbury Festival, and has dates mapped out through the summer, including a headlining slot at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 3rd.
  • A July 6th gig at London's 80,000-capacity Olympic Park will be the biggest show of the band's career to date.
