Black Sabbath has unveiled the details of a full North American summer tour, that will begin on July 25th in Houston and hit 20 cities before closing with an already previously announced Los Angeles gig on September 3rd. According to the band's publicist, response to the L.A. show and three other initial dates in Holmdel, New Jersey, Seattle and Toronto was "overwhelming." The trek will now include stops in Philadelphia, Boston, the Chicago area, San Francisco and other major markets.


  • Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale next Friday (May 3rd) at and VIP Packages are also available.
  • Sabbath is touring in support of 13, the first album in 35 years to feature singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler together.
  • The three original Sabbath members are being joined by Ozzy's live drummer, Tommy Clufetos, on the road. The band launched its world tour last weekend in New Zealand and is now making its way through Australia and Japan.
  • 13 is due out on June 11th, with the first official track taken from the disc, "God Is Dead?", available now.

    August 18 - Indianapolis, IN - Klipsch Music Center
    August 22 - Vancouver, BC - Rogers Arena
    August 24 - Seattle, WA - Gorge Amphitheatre
    August 26 - San Francisco, CA - Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View
