Stone Sour has issued a new music video for "Do Me A Favor," the first official single from the band's upcoming album House Of Gold And Bones, Part 2. The disc is the second half of a two-record conceptual project based on a short story by singer Corey Taylor. Part 1 arrived last fall, with Part 2 due out on April 9th. A four-issue comic book series adapted from Taylor's story will come out this spring, with the first issue arriving on shelves on April 17th.

  • The official synopsis for the comic book reads, "Trapped in an alternate reality, the Human must make his way to the House of Gold & Bones as he is chased by a crazed mob and taunted by mysterious ally Allen. What the Human discovers on his journey will be his salvation . . . or his destruction."
  • The second issue of the comic will arrive on May 22nd, with the publication dates of the third and fourth yet to be determined.
  • Stone Sour will head out next month with In This Moment on the first-ever Road To The Golden Gods tour, which will lead up the fifth annual Golden Gods Awards on May 2nd in Los Angeles. The trek kicks off on April 2nd in Portland, Maine, wrapping up in Nashville three weeks later.

SIDE NOTES: Corey Taylor's bandmate in Slipknot, percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan, is beginning to make his own name in the video world. Having recently directed a music video for Hollywood Undead, Clown also just got behind the camera for a new clip from the band Motionless In White. He wrote at his Facebook page, "I directed a Motionless In White video yesterday (March 26). I had a blast. We created something special. All the people involved were so great and a pleasure to work with. I live for those days."

Manish wrote: "Comparing this with any of the songs from part 1. This song is the one they want to gain more listeners. Part 1 is dope as hell. A lot better than their last album."

Roy444 wrote: "The song is great but they could lose the theatrical D Bags in the video."
