Muse will headline a series of free concerts scheduled for April 5th, 6th and 7th in Atlanta in conjunction with the NCAA's Final Four, according to FMQB. Other acts that will appear at Centennial Olympic Park include Dave Matthews Band, Sting, Ludacris, Flo Rida and Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. Muse will perform on the 6th along with Dave Matthews Band, Sting and others. Muse's single "Madness" has also been selected as the featured theme song for NCAA March Madness this year and can be heard in ads for the college basketball tournament.

  • Muse is currently on the road in the U.S. behind its sixth studio album, The 2nd Law, and plays in St. Louis on Friday (March 8th).
  • In other news, Muse drummer Dominic Howard has come under fire from former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher for smoking an electronic cigarette at the recent Brit Awards in London. Gallagher told Time Out Dubai, "It's very corporate, and you know what I've actually seen people doing at the Brits? Eating. I saw the drummer from Muse smoking an electronic cigarette. A cigarette with a battery in. I had to say to him: 'Really? Really? Is that where you are at? Do me a favor mate, either have a proper one outside, or don't have one.'"
  • Gallagher added, "It lit up green when he had a drag of it. Nonsense. He said that immortal line -- 'Oh you know how it is mate.' And I said 'I'm sorry mate, I actually don't.'"

  • Is it unfair for Noel Gallagher to single out Dominic Howard for smoking an electronic cigarette?
  • Is smoking cigarettes still considered "cool" for rock musicians to do?
  • For smokers out there: have you ever tried to quit by using electronic cigarettes? What were they like and did it work?
