America is gearing up for another busy year on the road. The group kicks of its 2013 dates on January 11th in Medina, Minnesota and takes a short four-date swing through Ontario, before heading Down Under for a mini-tour of New Zealand with Pat Benatar. After that, the band has a few new dates on the books for March and April, launching their spring U.S. dates on March 3rd in Boise, Idaho.

America -- led by Gerry Beckley and co-founder Dewey Bunnell -- is known for playing a high-octane hit-filled show. Beckley told us that they've never underestimated the importance of America's core fanbase: "We have the most loyal fans; I think you'll find that across the board, no matter who you tap in to, if you go to a lot of these classic acts --- I mean, we have people come 20, 30 times a year. There isn't millions of them, but there's enough to fill 100 shows a year. We go all over the planet."
