HALESTORM MAPS OUT SPECIAL HOLIDAY CONCERTS

11/20/2012

Halestorm will close out a very successful 2012 with three special holiday performances billed as "An Evening With" the band. The shows will take place on December 27th at Philadelphia's Electric Factory, December 29th at Montclair, New Jersey's Wellmont Theater and December 31st at Soundstage in Baltimore. Tickets for all three shows are on sale now.

Singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale said in a Facebook post about the shows, "We want to invite you to spend your holidays with us! This mini tour is your opportunity to see a very unique Halestorm show! We are bringing (second album) The Strange Case Of . . . to life and splitting the night into two very equal, but opposite performances -- light and dark, black and white . . . Jekyll and Mz. Hyde."

  • Hale added that these shows will be the only ones of their kind.
  • She told us when The Strange Case Of . . . came out earlier this year that the record had two very distinct musical sides to it: "We were writing some of the most aggressive songs that we've ever written, I'm screaming my head off, you know. And then halfway through, started writing some of the most personal songs that, you know, we've ever written, and some things that I've never talked about before, and it's interesting -- there's two definite sides and very real sides to what we do and who I am."
  • Halestorm recently released a digital EP via iTunes called In The Live Room. The six-song set was recorded live on October 31st at Sear Sound Studios in New York City as part of The Warner Sound's original series, "The Live Room."
  • The band is currently on a headlining U.S. tour with support from In This Moment and Eve To Adam that stops on Friday (November 23rd) in Portland, Oregon. Halestorm is also opening two shows for Alice Cooper this week.
  • The band's sophomore disc, The Strange Case Of . . . , has so far yielded two Top Five singles at Active Rock: "I Miss The Misery" and "Love Bites (So Do I)." The latter hit Number One, making Halestorm the first female-fronted act in history to top the Active Rock chart.
