John Lennon's letters were put together in a book named, The John Lennon Letters -- now selections from the book will be available in a new app for iPhone iOS coming soon. The app will reportedly include 78 letters in total and will also include: a foreword by Yoko Ono, commentary by the book's editor, Hunter Davies and audio readings from Christopher Eccleston. However, there is no date on the app's release yet.


Meanwhile, Beatlemania will be hitting PBS on December 14. The network will air a special Magical Mystery Tour Revisited documentary followed by a showing of the original film. The film will be restored and remixed with a soundtrack. Paul McCartney, reportedly had the original idea, and Ringo Starr, is credited as the director of photography. John Lennon and George Harrison are represented through interviews over the years and through their appearances in the film.
