Chevelle frontman Pete Loeffler was injured on Monday night (October 8th) when he tumbled off the front of the stage during the band's show in Tucson, Arizona. According to Loudwire, Loeffler managed to return to finish the set after a brief delay although he was seated for the remainder of the gig. He was taken to a local hospital after the concert and given X-rays. Although no broken bones were detected, the singer/guitarist had a knee brace applied to keep things stable.

  • The band thanked fans who stayed for the rest of the show via Twitter, saying that Loeffler "damaged his knee bad tonight."
  • Despite the swelling in the knee, Chevelle did not expect to postpone any of the remaining shows on its current tour, although it was likely that Loeffler would play the rest of the dates on the schedule while seated. The trio is slated to perform on Thursday night (October 11th) in Reno.
  • Chevelle is touring in support of its sixth album, Hats Off To The Bull, which was released last December. The latest single from the disc is "Same Old Trip."
