Up-and-coming L.A. group Dead Sara will open for Muse on at least part of the British trio's North American tour, according to Loudwire. Dead Sara's first date with Muse will be February 22nd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the band confirmed to stay with the tour until at least March 10th. Dead Sara singer Emily Armstrong said, "Muse was a band that we all agreed would be one of the biggest bands that we could tour with out there. Now that we are going on tour with them it is surreal!"

  • While opening for an arena act is a huge opportunity, Armstrong told us that playing to a crowd of Dead Sara fans is much more fun: "When the crowd is there, it just makes it so much better. When they're there for you, and you could feel the energy, it's great, and it's like this euphoric type of feeling and sense and you're just not really there, but you are, in like the highest state you can possibly be. As a person, it just feels so good and you just want it to last forever."
  • Dead Sara has been on the road nonstop for much of the past year in support of the band's self-titled debut disc, which features the hit rock single "Weatherman."
  • The group's latest single, "We Are What You Say," has been accompanied by a video that consists entirely of fan-submitted photos.
