Stevie Nicks says she would have no patience for Nicki Minaj opening a mouth to her in a threatening manner. Nicks commented on Minaj and Mariah Carey's well-publicized feud on the set of Fox's American Idol, telling The Daily Beast: "How dare this little girl. . . If I had been Mariah I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there. I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it,"

Although Nicks has previously appeared on the show, serving as a coach for the talent, she added that she's "glad she's not involved this year."

• Stevie Nicks will headline the Elton John AIDS Foundation 's (EJAF) 11th Annual "An Enduring Vision" benefit show on October 15th in Manhattan.
• The fundraiser will be hosted by Anderson Cooper and will be held at Cipriani Wall Street.
• 2012 marks the foundation's 20th year, with last year's EJAF benefit raising $2 million for AIDS research and care.
