FAN TAKES THE PLUNGE FOR NICKELBACK

7/30/2012

A Nickelback fan was injured when he fell 40 feet while trying to sneak into the band's July 24th show in Saratoga Springs, New York. According to Pollstar, 22-year-old Kevin Beaudette appeared to be intoxicated as he tried to cross a gorge and make his way into the Saratoga Performing Arts Center to see the band. He reportedly lost his footing and plunged into the Geyser Brook Gorge, where firefighters used a basket to rescue Beaudette after medical staff weren't able to lift him out.

  • Luckily his injuries were minor. He was treated at a local hospital and released, according to the Times-Union. No charges were filed against him.
  • Nickelback has been on the road since the spring behind its seventh studio album, Here And Now. The band's current North American trek wraps up on Monday night (July 30th) in Raleigh, North Carolina, after which the Canadian act will head to Europe in early September.
  • Here And Now has sold 880,000 copies since coming out last November.
