Has the lineup for Lollapalooza 2012 been leaked? With the event's list of bands scheduled to be officially revealed on Wednesday morning (April 11th), a roster of acts has been leaked that includes Black Sabbath, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Black Keys as headliners, with artists like Jack White, Florence And The Machine, The Shins, M83, Franz Ferdinand, Metric, The Temper Trap, At The Drive-Inand many more also part of the festival, which takes place on August 3rd, 4th and 5th at Grant Park in downtown Chicago.

  • Black Sabbath was supposed to tour the U.S. this year as part of a worldwide trek in support of a new album, but guitarist Tony Iommi's cancer diagnosis put those plans on hold.
  • Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager, Sharon, said recently that Sabbath would now play just one date each in North America and the U.K.
  • It was the decision by Lollapalooza organizers 15 years ago to deny Ozzy a spot on the bill that led him and Sharon to launch Ozzfest.

LISTENERS' POLL: If this is the leaked 2012 lineup of acts, does that make you want to attend the show?

Michael Lightbody Sr wrote: "why did Metallica get a bunch get grief for playing Lollapalooza but its ok for sabbath!!! stupid!! metallica does things first... takes crap then everybody else does what they want!!!"

Kyle Crispino wrote: "I knew it! If they were going to do only one date, it had to be centrally located."

David Michael Sligh wrote: "what the hell is SABBATH doing as part of Lollapalooza? SABBATH is rock-n-roll - not alternative!!! Not worth the money or time to go to this concert unless it becomes a true reunion and they stay away from the crap known as alternative music. PERIOD."
