Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has posted a new solo song online called "One Piece Thermo-Molded Country Plastic Chair," which he said is "dedicated to all who are affected by and recovering from Hurricane Sandy." Roth co-wrote the tune with Scotty Emerick and posted a video for it online as part of his ongoing web series, The Roth Show.

• Roth has plenty of spare time at the moment since Van Halen's 2012 world tour was postponed this past summer.
• Guitarist Eddie Van Halenis recovering from surgery for a severe bout of a digestive system disorder called diverticulitis.
• Van Halen is expected to resume touring in early 2013. The band's first album with Roth since 1984, A Different Kind Of Truth, came out last February.
