 Slash was honored with his own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday (July 10). Slash's star resides directly in front of the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard. Film producer Robert Evans, Charlie Sheen and radio host Jim Ladd were guest speakers at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Slash begins a new tour tonight (July 12) in Portland, Oregon. He told us about performing songs from his new album, Apocalyptic Love, in concert.
He said, "The record, because of the way it's recorded, is really tailor-made for going out and just performing live. There's no song on the record where we sat there and pieced it together and looked at it after the fact to see what it sounded like. It's all done spontaneously in the moment."
