Yesterday, Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, frontman of Seether, called WMMR to talk about their new record, Isolate & Medicate, which is being released today in the USA. We talked about the writing & recording of the record as well as Shaun's Philadelphia memories, his first baseball game and world cup. Follow Seether at their website, or on Facebook or Twitter. Thanks for listening,

Yesterday, Jay Buchanan, lead vocalist of The Rival Sons called the WMMR studio to discuss their new album, The Great Western Valkyrie and a lot more. The new record is the best album of 2014, so far, hands down. Jay and I discussed the new record as well as Dave Beste's impact on the band as the new member. Jay also shared his hardest life lessons learned being in the music business as well as some of the band's greatest achievements. Jay is open, honest and real in sharing his feelings about the many topics covered around The Great Western Valkyrie. Get more information about the band at their website and on Facebook. Follow them on Twitter. Thank you so much for listening. Pick up the new record. It's awesome.

Yesterday, I had a chance to speak with Alex Turner, lead vocalist of The Arctic Monkeys, about a variety of subjects including the making of AM, touring, World Cup and more. His answer to the 1st question picks up 1/4 of the way through because of the phone signal. He began the answer with the latter of the two. Get more information about the Arctic Monkeys at their website or on Facebook. You can also follow the band on Twitter. Thank you for listening,
