This week I had the pleasure of speaking with Mick Czaky, Gayle Wald and Anthony Heilbut in regards to the PBS Special, American Masters Series: Rosetta Tharpe The Godmother Of Rock N Roll, which will be airing Friday February 22nd at 9pm on PBS. Mick Czacky wrote, directed and produced the PBS special. Gayle Ward is the author of Shout, Sister, Shout! The Untold Story of Rock-and-Roll Trailblazer Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Bob Dylan, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and many more were very influenced by the gospel and blues sound of Sister Rosetta Tharpe. You can get more information about Sister Rosetta Tharpe here. It was announced this week that KORN will join Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Asking Alexandria plus a whole slew of others on this year's Mayhem Fest tour. Stream the chat now and get your tickets for Mayhem HERE. We'll see ya at the SBC on Friday August 1st!

Kenny Wayne Shepherd stopped by our studios with Noah Hunt before their sold out show at the Keswick Theatre with the Experience Hendrix Tour. We hear they'll be back in town by the summertime... Listen to our chat to find out more about that, plus the new KWS album on the horizon, and how Jimi Hendrix influenced Kenny as a young blues guitarist.
