This is Part 2 of my interview with Brad Meltzer. We started talking about his new book, The Fifth Assassin, which is out as of January 15th. A GREAT Read. Gripping. We discussed the secret society aspects of the book as well as how the most brilliant move George Washington may have made was putting together his spy ring for the Revolution. We talked about the history of the Deck of Cards, Presidential Assassinations, and the importance of knowing history. Get more information about Brad and his new book, The Fifth Assassin, here. Follow Brad on Facebook, here. Brad Meltzer will be in Philly on Wednesday, January 23rd at 7:30pm at the free library at 1901 Vine St. See you there. Thanks for listening.
In February of 1998 I had the pleasure of speaking with Ray Manzarek. We discussed the stamps of The Doors that were just released and I asked him about The Doors movie, directed by Oliver Stone. We are deeply saddened by Ray's passing but the music will always live on!
Thursday afternoon, I had the chance to speak with the lead vocalist of one of my favorite bands, RIVAL SONS. They just released their 3rd album in the USA (March 19th) called Head Down. It's an amazing record. Jay and I discussed many a topic in the hour we conversed. We talked about the new record, Rock N Roll, Snowboarding, Touring, and a whole lot more. I really enjoyed our conversation and I hope you do as well. Get more information about Rival Sons at Their Facebook Page, HERE. Or, go to their website, HERE. And, don't forget to follow Rival Sons on Twitter. Thank you so much for listening,
