It's time again for July's Local Shots Artist of the Month The Great SOCIO. They describe themselves as "the premier Guitar-less Rock 'n' Roll band from Philadelphia". Non-traditional instrumentation and infectious rhythms come together to create The Great SOCIO's music, the latest of which can be found on their album Modern Grip. Today we debuted the brand new track "Vultures", which you can listen to now. The Temple U. trio gained a lot of traction after the release of their first full-length record Curse The Weather, building upon their established reputation as one of the best alt-rock bands in the city.
