Devise - Web Of Lies

Members of former Philly bands The Element and Noosphere have come together to create the latest Local Shots Artist of the Month, Devise. This hook-laden hard rock is so well-polished and full of vigor, it's hard to believe this band is less than a year old. We spun a brand new song, "Web Of Lies", which is from their yet-to-be-released EP. Check it out! For Facebook and other links, head over to the Artist of the Month page. Cold Roses - Untitled Blues #1

Our Local Shots Artist of the Month for June is a great band by the name of Cold Roses. These guys have a bluesy Americana feel to their tunes - and put on a rousing live show! Come see them rock The Legendary Dobbs at our monthly Local Shots Showcase on Saturday June 29th. The show will also feature Rolling Stones tribute band Brown Sugar, Honey Spot Boulevard, Stonebaby, and Sunshine Acid Tabs. This afternoon we played the Cold Roses tune "Untitled Blues #1" off of the EP The Georgia Fugue. Song Dogs returns to the Local Shots Podcast with a song off their full-length album Wild Country. That song is "Law Of The Land", and you can stream it right now. Like them on Facebook - every day they share music from other artists they enjoy [pretty cool!], as well as posting band news and upcoming show info.
