Linkin Park Challenges Fans to Unlock New Song with Interactive Game

Linkin Park
is getting ready to drop their new single, but fans are going to have to save the world before hearing it!

Earlier this week, the band took to Facebook to promote a free game that will be released on September 12 via LPRecharge.com. The game’s trailer describes a futuristic world where dwindling natural resources have been captured and players are a part of an uprising whose mission is to “recharge” the world with clean energy.

Upon playing the game, fans will then be able to unlock Linkin Park’s new song with Steve Aoki, “The Light That Never Comes.” Those register for the game now will get an advanced clip of the song sent in the form of a free download from the guys of Linkin Park.

Currently, singer Chester Bennington has been fronting Stone Temple Pilots for a new EP, having replaced Scott Weiland back in April, while the other members of Linkin Park continue to work on their own respective projects.
