Is Richie Sambora headed back to Bon Jovi this fall?
The guitarist, who dropped out of the group's current Because We Can: The Tour in April, made noises to that effect in a couple of recent interviews.
He recently told TMZ that because he and frontman Jon Bon Jovi "have had a relationship for 30 years...It'll all work out in the end."
He went even further with The Sun in Britain, describing the rift as "a family drama" and adding that "Jon and I have been tight for like 30 years, so all of this is very sad and it affects so many people around us...It will be resolved...Let`s see what happens at the end of summer. September's looking good. So, maybe September."
Bon Jovi wraps up its current European swing on July 5 in London's Hyde Park, then plays a few U.S. dates in July. The group is slated to play Mexico City on September 10 and the Rock in Rio festival on September 20 in Brazil before starting another North American swing on October 2 in Vancouver.
Both Bon Jovi and Sambora have remained tight-lipped about the actual reasons for the guitarist's departure; Bon Jovi previously told us:
"Personal issue. We miss him, love him and he's welcome back when he's ready. And that's all I can tell ya. There's not a definitive date....He's going through some stuff...It's difficult for me, too, but that's the story."
