The march towards Slipknot's first new album in five years continues with another single, "The Devil In I," and apparent news about the album itself.
"The Devil in I" follows a previous single, "The Negative One," while iTunes lists a new Slipknot album titled "5: The Gray Chapter," for release on August 21, the title apparently a reference to co-founder and bassist Paul Gray, who died from a drug overdose in May of 2010. The posting lists 14 songs -- including "Killpop," "The One Who Kills the Least," "Scarcastrophe" and others -- as well as two bonus tracks. It will be Slipknot's first album since "All Hope is Gone" in 2008, and is also the group's first without founding drummer Joey Jordison, who was fired in December of 2013.
Slipknot returns to the stage for its second Knotfest, which takes place October 24-26 in San Bernadino, Calif., with Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Hellyeah and more.
