Rob Zombie Exits Show After Two Songs

TORONTO, ON - SEPTEMBER 10: Filmmaker Rob Zombie speaks at 'The Lords Of Salem' Premiere during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival at the Ryerson Theatre on September 10, 2012 in Toronto, Canada.
Yesterday’s Rob Zombie show in Cadott, Wisc. came to an abrupt halt when the singer cited voice issues and exited the stage after performing two songs.

Embedded in the video below (around the 7:58 mark), Zombie addresses the crowd saying he’s “never done this before” and says “there’s no way I can do this show. I’m sorry” before leaving the stage.

If you listen to the two performances on the video and the sound of his voice when talking to the crowd, Rob obviously doesn’t sound his best.  You have to give him credit for trying to perform and having a “show must go on” approach, but I’d rather see someone perform at their best than trying to battle their way through a set.

Zombie’s show was part of Wisconsin’s four-day Rock Fest, which also featured performances from Aerosmith, Five Finger Death Punch, Alter Bridge and more.  So far, there’s no word yet if Zombie plans to return to make up for the abandoned set.
