Slash Receiving Guitar Legend Award

CLEVELAND, OH - APRIL 14: Inductee Slash of Guns N' Roses speaks on stage during the 27th Annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at Public Hall on April 14, 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The legendary guitarist Slash will be adding to his trophy collection after this year’s Gibson Brands AP Music Awards.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be honored with the ceremonies first ever Guitar Legend Award, an award that he deserves to become synonymous with.

Slash has been cementing his legacy as one of the greatest to ever play guitar since the 80’s, so it’s always good to see him get the recognition he deserves.

As if the award weren’t enough, this Grammy winning guitarist will be releasing an album alongside Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators called “World on Fire.”

This will be his third solo album, and if it sounds anything like his last, you’ll want to check out his upcoming  tour dates with Aerosmith to see when he’ll be in a city near you.
