When KISS and Def Leppard announced that they would be touring together this summer, they not only offered discounted tickets to active and retired U.S. military veterans, but they pledged that a portion of all ticket sales would go to various military organizations.
Now, they’re going one step further. Each band is going to hire one military veteran to serve as a roadie on their upcoming tour.
Or as we like to put it: Go from the Army to the KISS Army!
Per Military.com, the full-time positions will run from mid-June through September 2014 with some of their responsibilities including acting as a show runner and setting up VIP Meet & Greet areas. While road crew experience isn’t required, both band’s crews are looking for vets with carpentry, lighting or production work experience.
