A rockin’ birthday shout out to Josh Todd! The lead singer and frontman of Buckcherry turns 44 today!
Todd was born in Los Angeles, California. He stayed local to LA in his childhood and dove into music at a young age. Before starting up Buckcherry, Todd was the frontman for a local glam-rock and named Slamhound.
After leaving Slamhound, Todd met Keith Nelson through his tattoo artist and Buckcherry was born. In 1999, the band released its self-titled debut which generated a small following. In 2002, the band released a second album that failed to generate much of a following.
After the release of their second album, Todd left Buckcherry to pursue a career as the lead singer for a new rock supergroup with members from Guns N’ Roses. He failed to get the part, and soon reformed Buckcherry.
Since reforming in 2005, Buckcherry has released four studio albums and one live album. Todd is still working with the band on more material.
Josh currently is currently married to Mitzi Martin and has two kids.
Happy 44th birthday Josh! Keep rockin’!
