5/31 Jennifer A. Romano Beef & Beer Benefit – Fight Like A Girl!

On January 10, 2012, at such a young age, Jen’s whole life was turned upside down when she went to the Bryn Mawr Hospital ER for bad lower back and stomach pains. After much testing followed by surgery, she was told that she had stage 3C Ovarian Cancer and she had to have her uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes removed. She then was transferred to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital where she underwent another surgery to remove a small part of her liver and began the “debulking” process. She is still being treated there today as she undergoes her second round of Chemotherapy.

With their current and future bills climbing, this family is in much need of financial support. We really hope this benefit will greatly help them and eliminate some of their worries.  This truly awful disease has robbed this special family of so much and your contribution will be much appreciated by the Romano family, as well as everyone involved.
