Ten Thousand Villages at the King of Prussia Mall and Laurel House in Norristown will team up this Valentine’s Day to give a gift of jewelry to women affected by domestic abuse.
During Ten Thousand Villages Valentine’s Day Buy One Get One 50% off Jewelry Sale, February 7-14, customers will be invited to donate their second piece of jewelry to Laurel House. Ten Thousand Villages will also collect gently used jewelry, which will be donated to Laurel’s Loft and Marian’s Attic, local thrift stores that donate their proceeds to Laurel’s House. Every customer who donates a piece of jewelry will receive a special coupon.
The mission of Laurel House is to provide a safe haven for abused women and their children, to raise public awareness about domestic violence and to advocate for social change against domestic violence.
Ten Thousand Villages stores in Chestnut Hill, Ardmore, Media and Exton will also participate in the jewelry collection.
