Maeve Hollinger is like and ordinary toddler, except she has Type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes was once called Juvenile Diabetes because it is most commonly diagnosed in kids 8 - 14. She was only 18 months old when she was diagnosed! She is a very rare case, but as her mom says, Hollinger's don't do anything "normal".

A fundraiser has been set up to raise money to get Maeve a Diabetes Alert Service Dog that will  be able to alert her family to a dangerous sugar level almost immediately. These dogs are amazing and very expensive with a price tag of $24,000.
