WMMR ROCKS The 33rd Annual Delaware Valley A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Toy Run - Sunday, November 3rd to beneift the United Sates Marine Corps Toys For Tots Program!
It’s for the kids… America’s largest rolling motorcycle toy run. Each rider is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy (with batteries if needed) – no stuffed animals, please.
Bikes take off at 12 noon - A.B.A.T.E. members will be escorting riders to the Piazza At Schmidt’s (1001 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA) where the toys will be collected by the U.S. Marine Corps, for their "Toys For Tots" program. Plus, the John McNutt Band playing live at the Toy Drop!
Be advised - parts of roads along the parade route will be closed - listen to WMMR for updates in the morning AND don't forget to set your clocks back the night before!
All riders MUST be 21. Yout must also have a valid motorcycle license. Visit DelawareValleyABATE.org for more information.
Don't ride, but still want to help? You can drop off a toy at Cavanaugh’s River Deck that weekend (Fri. or Sat. night only) With your donation, you will recieve a wristband good for $2 beers and $5 shot specials.
