How to Enter and Win
MMR Listeners will have two ways to enter the Contest to win a trip for two to the Philadelphia vs. New York professional football game on December 13, 2009 in New York. (Bus departs locally from Philadelphia.)

(1) Listeners will have the opportunity to win on air via Preston & Steve’s Word of the Week Contest during the weeks of November 2, 2009 and November 30, 2009. Each weekday during those weeks, WMMR’s Preston & Steve will announce the “Daily Letter” (a letter of the alphabet) near the end of their show, between 10am and 10:45am (times vary depending on the end time of that day’s show). On Friday of each week (or the last weekday on which Preston & Steve broadcast live that week, in the event of a holiday or vacation), listeners will be encouraged to call 215-263-WMMR (9667) after that day’s “Daily Letter” is announced. Callers will be selected randomly to guess the “Word of the Week” created by that week’s “Daily Letters.” The first caller to correctly identify the “Word of the Week” will be the winner of that week’s prize.

Online listeners to the WMMR (Station) web stream may experience a reception delay of up to one minute. Listening to the Station’s over-the-air broadcast is the best way to participate in this contest.
Winner qualification is subject to FULL phone call completion, and the verification of the caller’s name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number and social security number, all of which must be provided prior to completion of the call. Contest calls will not be accepted at any other number.

(2) Listeners will also have the opportunity to enter at MMR Events at local venues starting November 2, 2009 (except as otherwise noted below for the “Kickin Back with Casey and Jon Dorenbos” events at various Barnaby’s locations) through the Drawing Dates listed below. Dates and locations will be posted at wmmr.com, (must be at least 21 to participate). At each location or Event, participants may enter the contest on site, one entry per person, per site. A winner will be selected at each site, based on the dates and times listed below. There will be 16 locations / events. Entry forms must be filled out completely.

Location 1: Bar-B-Q Pit, 4741 Penn Ave., Sinking Springs, PA 19608. Drawing: 11/22/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 7 to 9pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. All entries must be received by 9:00pm on 11/22.

Location 2: Duffer’s Mill, 1600 Naamans Creek Rd., Chichester, PA 19061. Drawing: 11/29 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 12noon to 2pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. All entries must be received by 2:00PM on 11/29.

Location 3: Pike Café, 930 Pike Street, Reading, PA 19604. Drawing: 11/29/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 12noon to 2pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. All entries must be received by 2:00pm on 11/29.

Location 4: McStew’s Irish Sports Pub, 5316 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19065. Drawing: 11/29/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 12noon to 2pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.  All entries must be received by 2:00pm on 11/29.

Location 5: Maggie O’Neill’s, 1062 Pontiac Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Drawing: 11/29/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 3pm to 5pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. All entries must be received by 5:00pm on 11/29.

Location 6: Trappe Tavern, 416 West Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Drawing: 12/6/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 12noon to 2pm. All entries must be received by 2:00pm on 12/6.

Location 7: Blue Dog, 4275 County Line Rd., Chalfont, PA 18914. Drawing: 12/6/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 3pm to 5pm. All entries must be received by 5:00 pm on 12/6.

Location 8: New Britain Inn, 376 W. Butler Ave., New Britain, PA 18901. Entries will only be accepted during Sunday Night Football games between 11/2 and 12/6. Drawing: 12/6/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 12noon to 2pm. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. All entries must be received by 2:00pm on 12/6.

Location 9: Santucci’s, 4050 Woodhaven Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. Drawing: 11/20/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 6pm to 8pm. All entries must be received by 8:00 pm on 11/20.

Location 10: McNoodles, 7358 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149. Drawing: 11/21/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 9pm to 11pm. All entries must be received by 11:00 pm on 11/21.

Location 11: Barnaby’s West Chester, 15 South High Street, West Chester, PA 19382. Drawing: 11/23/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 8pm to 10pm. All entries must be received by 10:00 pm on 11/23.

Location 12: Parker Pub, 6800 Ridge Avenue, Phila, PA 19128. Drawing 12/5/09 at end of WMMR Promo Event from 8pm to 11pm. All entries must be received by 11:00pm on 12/5.

Location 13: Barnaby’s Havertown, 1901 Old West Chester Pike, Havertown, PA 19083. Entries will only be accepted during MMR’s “Kickin Back with Casey and Jon Dorenbos” events from 7 to 9pm September 14th, October 19th and November 16th. Winner will be drawn on site on November 16th toward the end of that event. All entries must be received by 8:45 pm on 11/16.

Location 14: Barnaby’s Ridley, 2107 MacDade Blvd., Holmes, PA 19043. Entries will only be accepted during MMR’s “Kickin Back with Casey and Jon Dorenbos” events from 7 to 9pm September 21st, October 27th (the only Tuesday appearance in this series), and November 23rd. Winner will be drawn on site on November 23rd toward the end of that event. All entries must be received by 8:45 pm on 11/23.

Location 15: Barnaby’s Aston, 5501 Pennell Road, Media, PA 19063. Entries will only be accepted during MMR’s “Kickin Back with Casey and Jon Dorenbos” events from 7 to 9pm September 28th, November 2nd and November 30th. Winner will be drawn on site on November 30th toward the end of that event. All entries must be received by 8:45 pm on 11/30.

Location 16: Barnaby’s West Chester, 15 South High Street, West Chester, PA 19382. Entries will only be accepted during MMR’s “Kickin Back with Casey and Jon Dorenbos” events from 7 to 9pm October 12th, November 9th and December 7th. Winner will be drawn on site on December 7th toward the end of that event. All entries must be received by 8:45 pm on 12/7.

Prize

One prize will be awarded on air for each “Word of the Week” winner in the designated weeks, and one prize will be awarded at each location/event listed above (16 prizes total).

Each prize is a trip for two on CaseyBoy’s Party Bus for the Birds – courtesy of PhillyTailgate.com, includes bus transportation for winner and guest (must be 21+), two tickets to December 13, 2009 Philadelphia/New York Giants game in New York, and unlimited food and beverages at a pre-game tailgate including: Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Italian Sausage, Boneless Chicken Breast, Various Salads, Various Desserts, Ice cold beer, soda and bottled water. Bus meets at 1:30pm in Lot M (7th and Pattison Avenues in South Philly at the Sports Complex), departs at 2pm (transportation WILL NOT be held if any participant is running late), 4pm to 7:30pm tailgate party in Stadium parking lot in New York, game kicks off at 8pm. 11:15pm meet back at the bus, 12am bus departs for Philadelphia. *** If game goes into overtime, bus will depart 45 minutes after conclusion of game ***. 2am approx arrival back in Philly at Lot M.

Odds of winning depend in part on the number of people trying to call in or enter on site. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. WMMR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winners must claim their prizes in person at the WMMR offices within 30 days after the end of the contest. Prizes not claimed within the time limit will be forfeited. Winners must complete travel waiver from PhillyTailgate.com prior to departure. Prize does not include parking at the Sports Complex, food and beverage during the game, souvenirs, or any other expenses not specifically listed as included in the prize.

Eligibility

All entrants must be at least 21 years old and legal residents of the United States, living or working in WMMR’s total survey area (as defined by Arbitron). Winners will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a WMMR contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days. Winners will also be disqualified if they or a member of their household have won a GREATER MEDIA PHILADELPHIA (WMMR/WMGK/WBEN/WNUW/WPEN) prize valued at One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater in the past 365 days. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Media Philadelphia, its affiliates (including the stations listed above), promotion sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMMR or any of the promotion sponsors, and other radio stations in WMMR’s metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron) are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMMR. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.” Void where prohibited.

Release

By participating, all entrants agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, WMMR, Greater Boston Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won. Winners (and their guests, if any) will be required to sign a form releasing WMMR and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize. This Form must be completed by winners at the WMMR offices during normal business hours, and photo ID must be presented at the time of completion.

WMMR undertakes no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize(s) awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the contest, including (but not limited to) cancellations, postponements, delays or other scheduling changes; missed events or connections or inability of winner to attend; and accident, injury, death, damage or expense arising from or occurring during the use of the prize, or travel to/from or attendance at any event relating to the contest, by the winner and/or winner’s guest(s). WMMR is not responsible for damage to a prize or loss of a prize after the prize has been claimed. Winners must inspect their prizes before leaving the WMMR. WMMR is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failure or malfunctions, lost or unavailable network or other telecommunications connections, or lost, late, damaged, illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, disconnected, or delayed contest entries or communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the execution of this contest. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of WMMR, Station reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and determine an alternate method of awarding the prize(s).

License

Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for WMMR and promotion sponsors and their respective affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant's name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness without compensation.

Taxes

WMMR will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099. Winners must provide their social security number to WMMR for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

General

Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant or on a contestant’s behalf, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. WMMR reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in WMMR’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by WMMR or its affiliates. WMMR reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of WMMR and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding.
